Hey Jason, I love your Tokyo with Kids Guidebook from Amazon which is what brought me here. I’d like to buy this ebook as well. Is there by any chance I can get a discount for this? Like a coupon code? Your guide is the best. Thank you!

Hi Star! Thank you for your interest in our guidebook! We do have discount codes from time to time, but we’re not running a campaign at the moment, and don’t have one planned anytime soon. Hope you have a great time in Tokyo! Let us know how it goes!

I’m living in Tokyo with three young boys, so this book is a big help for me. The variety of activities is impressive, and there are many that I would have never thought of. I’d recommend it to ex-pats living in Tokyo, as well as to anyone just visiting. I’ve actually bought a few more copies to give to my clients as gifts.

When we first arrived to Tokyo, I felt overwhelmed with how to even begin exploring the city. This book was excellent in getting me oriented and knowing what to look for in each neighborhood during our three month stay. I’ve used it daily. Don’t visit Tokyo without it.

We only had a week in Tokyo and Jason’s book was invaluable in deciding on some of the best things we could do as a family with children, and not necessarily all on the maintream tourist track. From the Fukagawa Edo Museum to the Onsen hot springs experience, we felt that we exerienced a great variety of what Tokyo can offer that we wouldnt’ have found without Jason’s book. On the downside, it meant we were really sorry to be leaving Tokyo so soon without having had the chance to do nearly as much as we wanted to!

Tokyo With Children was a wonderful resource for us when we visited Tokyo with kids ages 11 and 13. It was like having a trusted friend tell you what would be most fun for everyone in what could be an overwhelming city. Having subway and JR information for each destination was very helpful. We’ve traveled a lot, and this was by far one of the best city guides for families we’ve ever used.

We spent six days in Tokyo and used this book every day. The fact that it is laid out geographically allowed me to easily group the activities and plan our days. Links to maps and the mention of closest metro stations proved invaluable while we navigated Tokyo with our iPad. We loved finding some of the hidden gems that the author and his kids enjoyed (like a funky art gallery with a huge origami crane that my daughter rode!), and we’re sure we would not have found them in other Tokyo guides. Don’t go to Tokyo with kids without this guide!

Having lived in Tokyo for almost a decade, I was surprised by how many new and interesting things I found in Jason’s book to do with my 5-year-old son. Ever since I got the book, I’ve found myself looking at it for reference on what to do almost every weekend. The way it is organized and written makes it very easy and accessible, and it is really a great source of information, whether you live here or are just visiting. I cannot wait for him to write more books on cities I want to visit, and plan what to do with my son around his recommendations.
